PLOT SUMMARY
A superstar 3D-printed hybrid figurine struggles to adapt after being relocated to a museum housing authentic ancient African artifacts.

OUR STORYTELLING
The story uses "Fables." Non – human characters that act like they are human. Specifically, our story revolves around a central character called Blend, who must blend in with other true ancient African relics when he is relocated to a museum of African relics, from a small gallery in France.

The Artifacts in the museum come alive at midnight everyday, and live life to the fullest before returning to their mundane form just before daybreak.

By having the artifact collection come alive daily at midnight, we have managed to create a very crucial sense of the movie's fantasy rudiments to reflect the human perspective of communal living - complete with feelings, sentiments, traditions, and conflicts - all exaggerated beyond the obvious.
Though we have chosen to tell the bulk of our story with these artifacts, we also have human characters.
We have employed a unique storytelling method that adequately combines reality and high-fiction by using our fabulist elements to accomplish the plot objective.
Our storytelling is allegorical; as the artifacts serve a symbolic purpose beyond their mundane form.

ARTIFACTS in the news!
It is one of its hidden virtues, Lake Annecy makes it possible to give birth to animated films. During the 60th edition of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival & International Animated Film Market (MIFA), held until Saturday, June 19 - both in the Haute Savoie and Zoom, because of the Covid-19 -, Directors engage in “pitch” sessions to raise funds.

ARTIFACTS IS NOT JUST A MOVIE. IT IS AN EXTENSIVE FRANCHISE!
MOVIE TEASER

PROJECT TITLE: ARTIFACTS

Format: Animated Feature Film & Multi-Platform Franchise Genre: Fabulist Adventure / Heist Thriller / Family
Logline: In a Benin City museum, a 3D-printed outcast must save a secret community of ancient relics who despise him, proving that art deserves to live—by whatever means.

ANCIENT SOUL MEETS DIGITAL HEART

ARTIFACTS is not just a movie; it is a "Material Tactility" universe bridging the gap between ancient mysticism and modern technology.

The Story: When the lights go out in the Benin City Museum, the exhibits enter "Up-Time"—a secret life where ancient relics breathe and speak. Enter Blend, a sleek, 3D-printed statue created by a radical antiquarian with a controversial ideology: "Art deserves to live again". Rejection is immediate. Labelled a "fake relic" by the museum’s High Council—led by Sage and Blend’s former friend, Gard—Blend is ostracized while the "authentic" wooden and clay artifacts face a silent killer: a termite pandemic degrading their very bodies. When thieves strike, carting away some of the Artifacts in the museum, it is Blend—the "hybrid" outcast—who must use his embedded technology to lead a daring heist rescue.

The Visual Hook: We are pushing a new aesthetic: "Low-Poly" Rustic vs. High-Tech Fluidity. The film contrasts the jagged, raw edges of traditional African artifacts with Blend’s smooth 3D-printed textures. Lit by atmospheric "Chiaroscuro" lighting and the glow of the "water of life," the visual language emphasizes the clash between the mechanical "whir" of technology and the organic "creak" of ancient wood.

A FRANCHISE "GOLDMINE"
ARTIFACTS is engineered for investors looking beyond the box office. It is a scalable IP Ecosystem designed to dominate Merchandising, Gaming, and Education.

1. The "Toyetic" Revolution (Replica-Grade Strategy)
  • Built-in Merch: The characters are toys. We don’t need to adapt them; we replicate them. We have 189 characters ready for market.
  • Material Innovation: Moving beyond generic plastic, our "Texture-Tech" line mimics real materials. Gard features hydro-chromic bronze that oxidizes; Asha offers "repair mode" construction play; Oboh is an audio-tactile sensory toy.
  • Bridging Digital & Physical: Blend is the mascot for a "Design Your Own Droid" line, selling 3D-printable files to young makers.
2. Gaming & Transmedia Scalability
  • Class-Based Mechanics: The cast is pre-designed for RPGs and Hero Shooters. Deina is "The Tank" (deflecting attacks with her bell tunic); Kei is "The Bard" (sonic attacks); Sage is "The Guide" (time-freezing).
  • Publishing & Education: From YA graphic novels exploring character backstories (The Bronze Whisper) to tactile board books for toddlers, the IP leverages African folklore and cultural history for the "Edutainment" market.
3. Fashion & Lifestyle
  • Afro-Futurism Meets Rustic: An apparel vertical featuring Sage’s "Gold Top" streetwear and Idia’s high-end brass relief jewelry patterns.

WHY THIS FILM? WHY NOW?
In a market saturated with standard animation, ARTIFACTS offers a unique value proposition: the story of a diamond born in a laboratory trying to prove its worth to a crown of mined jewels. It combines the heart of Toy Story with the cultural depth of Black Panther and the heist tension of a thriller like Night at the Museum.

We offer Diversity, Scalability, and Texture.

ARTIFACTS 2026 Updates!
After a successful outing at Annecy in 2021, we returned  and commenced work on developing the characters, based on the feedback received. We have been working non-stop since then, funding the movie ourselves, since we didn't secure funding at Annecy, and as a testament to our relentlessness, ARTIFACTS will be released in 2026!
